This gathering serves as a platform to address national legislation and capacity-building programs while discussing pressing issues related to chemical safety and international collaboration. Participants are sharing country-specific presentations and gaining insights into the OPCW’s activities. The event places particular emphasis on the impact of artificial intelligence and the significant role academia plays in ensuring chemical safety and preventing the spread of weapons of mass destruction.

Slovenia plays an active role in the OPCW and is committed to the full implementation of the Chemical Weapons Convention, which aims to eliminate chemical weapons globally.
